Des has keen interest in computers and technology both inside and outside of work, and as such is often the tech that the others team members go to with technical issues.Loyal and dependable, Des has an innate ability to pinpoint issues, enabling him to ferret out difficult technical problems across a broad range of areas such as software compatibility, server migrations, and wide-area-networks.
Des has worked with all Windows versions up to and including Server 2008 R2.

Operations Manager
I started part time on accounts which suited perfectly for my family. I now work as Operations Manager while still overseeing the accounts side. The bulk of my time is spent juggling jobs in the techs calendars and liaising with clients. I have a lot more contact with our clients now, so I have enjoyed getting to know them better through regular contact. I don’t often get to meet our clients (my contact with them is usually via email or phone) but when I do get the chance it is lovely to put a face to the name.
It’s amazing how much IT stuff I have absorbed just by working here. I now can hold a conversation on basic IT issues, although I still don’t consider myself technically savvy when it comes to IT.
My family is hugely important to me (especially my 2 girls) & the Cadratech work ethic certainly enforces this.
